Store" opens 9am-9pm until October 8th, 2012.

(5pm) - Happy Memorial Day Weekend! - Join us
for our Adirondack campground celebration at our Pavilion and Community Center where the
owner puts on a food fest. There is no charge for the party to the campers who are camping with us that weekend. Please,
all we ask is that you bring a dish to pass around. There will be chicken, burgers, hot-dogs, sausage, soda, salads,
desserts and alot more... You won't go away hungry! This is a free event
and we hope everyone that is camping that weekend at Medcalf Acres Riverfront Campground can make it! Don't miss out
on the awesome DJ - starts at 5pm - ????? Characture Artist's
will be drawing for the kids! Don't miss out on the fun! Volleyball and horseshoe contests
starts at 2pm at the Pavilion. Prizes!

and 24th, 2012 - the last full weekend in June is designated as Free Fishing Days
in New York State. During those two days, anyone can fish New
York State waters, and no fishing license is required.
This event started in 1991 to allow all people the opportunity to sample the incredible fishing New York State has to offer.
Since no license is required, it is the perfect time to take a friend or relative fishing. In 2012, New York State's
Free Fishing Days are Saturday and Sunday, June 23rd & 24th.

4th of July Weekend! - Join us for our Adirondack campground celebration
at our Community Center where the owner puts on a food fest. There is no charge for the party

go away hungry! This is a free event and we hope everyone that is camping that
weekend at Medcalf Acres Riverfront Campground can make it! DJ starts at 5pm-??? and Characture Artist
will be drawing for the kids! (2pm) Volleyball and Horseshoe contest at the Pavilion. Prizes!

July 7th - Celebrate the age of rock and roll A good time shall be had by all at the Pavilion. Dress
in your bobby socks, poodle skirts and ducktails. Dance the evening away to the oldies. Check with management
for time.

Saturday, July 14th, 2012 there will also be a Fishing Derby at the campground. There will be a first
place prize for the largest trout (in length) caught between the hours of 6am - 4pm. Fish must be caught at the rivers
edge of Medcalf only! Must be registered to participate! Cheaters will be thrown back in the river, not the
fish. 
Second place prize of $25 for the fish that weighs the most. Make sure you have your fishing license! After
the contest there will be a fish cook-out at the Pavillion at 4pm before Bingo! BYOB Saturday
July 21st, 2012 Basketball Contest "Horse" starts at 11am

Saturday, July 21st, 2012 and Sunday July 22nd, 2012 - Medcalf Acres 3rd
annual "Largest Garage Sale". Bring all of your unwanted goods and sell them at your site from
8am-5pm. Please take out what you bring in as we will not be accepting extra items in the dumpster that weekend.
Have fun selling!
On Saturday, July 28th, 2012 there will be a
lazy river tubing contest for all Seasonals in the campground. Starts at 1pm! Everyone will start out at
the bridge by Rt.9 and River Road. Everyone will start out together. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and 20th
place. Good Luck and Tube Safe!
Saturday, August
4th, 2012 Halloween Weekend Celebrate this spooky holiday! Bring
decorations and join the site decorating contest. Top three will be awarded prizes. Don't forget your costumes
and trick or treat from site to site from 6-8pm (2pm) spooky hay ride, (4pm) go-cart rides (6pm) Games at the
Pavillion, (8pm) Outdoor Movie, still going on at the campground.

2012 Great Escape/Splash Water Kingdom Day! - All seasonals and immediate
family members are invited to a funfilled day at the Great Escape/ Splash Water Kingdom. For a nominal fee of $30 per
person you will have the time of your life! Included: a free parking pass, a free $45.00
Admission ticket, a free all you can eat lunch buffet (12noon), including soft drinks and ice cream,
and then after you have been playing for a while, you then can sit down for a free all you can eat dinner buffet
(6pm) including soft drinks and ice cream. If you still have energy left then continue to ride all of the great rides throughout
the park, until closing. Want your friends and other family members to go with you? No problem, just $45.00
gets them in and it includes everything above! Must be signed up and paid in full by July 31st, 2012.

September 8th, 2012 there will also be a Chili Cooking Contest at the campground. Bring your favorite crock pot
of Chili and some hard rolls with butter of course. We will supply the dixie cups and everyone participating can test sample
a little bit from everyone. Blue Ribbon 1st place prize gets $25, 2nd place prize $15, and third place prize wins $5. BYOB
